After what seems like eternity, Derrick was finally able to calm him down.He wiped away his tears and turn our way and then he notices us.
"sorry you guys had to see me this way" he mutters with a small smile,
"It is okay, we understand the pain you are going through." I replied sympathetically
"Ermm....Arson meet my friends Nina Killian and Sienna Greenwood. Guys meet Arson Cooper " Derrick says and Arson shakes our hand.
He hands lingered mine for a while which brought butter flies into my stomach.
"what did you say your name was again?" he asked still holding my hands and looking at me.
" Sienna Greenwood " I replied and he looks at me shocked,
"Wh....where do you come from?" he asks which made feel awkward because I don't like talking about my past with anyone
"I was born in Italy but my origin is English" I answered
"Are you by any chance related to Amanda Carlton?" he asks still in his shocked state
"Yes that is my mother " I answer, okay this is getting annoying and overwhelming.
"Why are your asking me all this and how did you know my mother's name?" I ask suspiciously
"it is nothing, forget I ever asked you anything. Nice meeting you all. Excuse me" he says hurriedly before we knew it he was gone.
"okay that was so awkward and weird as fuck" Nina says and we all agreed.
After we hung around for a while before leaving, I didn't see Arson anywhere and I had a feeling in me that this isn't go to our last encounter.
....Today is my first day of residency at Saint Andrews Memorial Hospital and I got there an hour early.
I just can't afford to be late for my first day at work. I need to make a good impression.
Once I entered the hospital,I walked straight to the reception,there were nurses and other staffs over there, probably clogging in.
"Good morning. My name is Sienna Greenwood,and I'm a resident here" I say and woman looks at me with a surprised smile, while the other nurses look shocked.
"well, well, God is wonderful, our first Greenwood was a patient who made a great impression on us,and now the opposite version of her ,hmm a doctor"the woman staff says and old woman nodded
"Looks like you are an hour early. Great impression already"the old lady says before handling me a pen and board to sign.
She hands me a tug that had my name on it.
I thanked her and asked me wait the lounge area for the others.
Apparently there are five of us. Two girls and a two boys plus me , which makes it five.
The sad thing is two of them are from Havard,one is from Columbia University and other one is from Yale, I'm going to look like a small potatoes Infront of them.
I'm not saying NYU isn't a top school, it is but compared to Havard or Yale it is small potatoes, no offense.
While I was sitting in lobby waiting, I see a boy come to sit next to me also in a grey scrubs with his lap coat on his hand.
"hey are you also part of the resident?" he asks and I nod with a smile.
"oh okay, I'm Ben by the way,from Yale university" he introduces himself and there I took a look at him.
WOW, his amber eyes shine in the sun,his teeth are white and nicely arranged, unlike mine in braces.
"I'm Sienna from NYU, nice to meet you" I say offering my hand
"the pleasure is all mine" he answers with a dashing smile and takes my hand in an handshake.
We made light conversations about the hospital and school in general before the others arrived.
The other boy was a very handsome and cute black boy with curly hair and he was from Columbia. The girls, one black haired and the other blonde, like I guessed snobby, show off and full of themselves.
I rolled my eyes as the made a disgusted face at me.
Just then I see a nurse approaching us with a smile. She is so beautiful and I didn't recognize her small baby bump until got closer to us.
"Hello, my name is Mrs July Coleman Greenwood but you call me Nurse Coleman. Welcome to Saint Andrews Memorial Hospital, we hope you make a great impact on us. Now before we go to the board room, do you have any questions?" she says and just then the black haired girl raised her hands.
"Yes"
"You look familiar,are you by any chance related to the Greenwood family?"the girl asks.
This really annoying ,why does everyone think if you have the surname Greenwood you're going related to Clara's family. Mason Greenwood isn't related to them,or so I thought.
"That question is irrelevant but yes, my husband is Aiden Greenwood" she answers with pride and adoration.
"okay. That will be all then and congratulations on your baby" she says pointing to her tummy .
"okay then, let's move to the board room where you'll be meeting the board" she says and leads the way up the stairs.
After walking for a few minutes we arrived Infront of two large oak doors. The sign on it says BOARD ROOM.
Nurse Coleman opens it and the sight revealed a long table with five people seated behind it, like a panel of judges.
We all entered except nurse Coleman,
"Welcome residents to Saint Andrews Memorial Hospital. Hope you make a good impression with us " the lady in suit says
There we five people in general, two women and three men. One woman along with other two men were in lab coat and the others were in suits."As we all know Andrew's Memorial Hospital is known for it best patient treatment,here every doctor and specialist is assigned to it duty by their departmental head. So I'd like for us to introduce ourselves"she says with a smile.
She looks no less than 30years.
"My name is Chelsea Andrews, successor of Andrew's Memorial Hospital" the woman in blazer says"Well I'm Judith Clarkmen, Head of the surgical department and these are my colleagues Dr. Gerald Griffin and Dr. Maxwell Ford" the lady in lab coat says,she looks to be in her early 50's and men would be in their late 50's.
"I am Hudson, Dr. Gerald is your departmental head,and he'll assist you people in knowing all the patients"the man in suite says and he hands me a small blue name tag and lab coat.
"This belongs to you now. You've earn your place here. We look forward to working with you people"he says and they stand up.
The boys and I smiled as we handed our locker keys.
