Chapter 6

Sienna's P.O.V

We were given a tour around the hospital and when we passed through the sectors, we were shown the wards were they had renovated and changed to Clara Greenwood's ward,and we saw her formal room locked with flowers all over it. 

After the tour, we were assigned to different patient for the day and to say it was the best was an understatement. My patient Lindsey was cheerful and carefree and she didn't want her illness to bring her down. 

That is a good spirits.

Finally the day has ended and we said our goodbyes to each other before leaving. Well, the boys and I said our goodbyes ,the other girls ,whose name I just learnt were Diana and Iris, didn't even bother to say bye,the just left in their car.

I was outside waiting for a taxi when I heard my phone ring, I saw the number and I rolled my eyes.

I debated whether to answer or not.

I answer in an irritated tone anyway.

" What do you want mother?" I asked sharply

" Good day to you too my daughter"she responded

"Cut the crap mother and answer me" I say in an irritated tone

"Well is it bad for a mother to ask if her daughter" she says

"it is bad when the said mother left her daughter to rot in hell. You are even lucky I answered your call, because to me you are dead. You died the moment you let that man have his way with me and said nothing about it. So mother tell me what you want"I replied in a deadly tone.

"Honey ,I told how sorry I am. I've been going for therapy, I'm becoming a better mother. I want our relationship to work"she answered

" Yh a better mother for your precious daughter Maddy. You don't give two shits about me mother. You only called me because you want money " I say in frustrated

" No honey,I told I have become a better person,I work honey,I have a job now. I just want to work things out with you Sienna. You are my first daughter and I love you believe it or not. I was stupid back then and it cost me you and your life and dignity. No amount of sorry will fix it but please allow me work things out with you " she says in sad tone and I won't buy it ,not even one bit.

"well mother,it is going to be difficult to work things out with you. You weren't around when I needed you the most. When I told you about him you didn't believe me and you want me to do same with you. Never mother "I reply in and angry tone.

I could hear her shake breath and sobs from the other end of the phone.

I kinda feel bad for her but she hurt me the most. She broke me first.

"Sienna, I'm your mom and I'm going make sure our relationship works" she says in a determined tone.

" Gotta go mother" I hung up the call before letting a deep breath.

I can't wait to go home and sleep.

The rest of week we're the same routine, wake up, exercise, go to work,come back and then sleep. 

I was given my schedule and I'll be having off days on Tuesdays and Fridays. 

That is also a perfect timing for me to attend my therapy, Derrick spoke to his brother and he is already in on it.

He is more then happy to help this broken girl with a sexual disorder or addiction. 

I know it is going to be difficult but since I'm determined to change and become a better person for myself it is going to work.

Today is Friday night and I'm not going anywhere ,so Nina and I decided to have a girl's sleep over.

We usually watch N*****x and sleep,but today we decide to binge watch the entire seasons of Suits and Pearson.

I'm in the kitchen making us some popcorn and cutting the leftover cake I brought from work today.

I see my phone ringing,I answered without looking at the ID number ,

"Hello, Sienna here"I say

"hey beautiful,how are you ?" I hear Derrick's voice ask from the other side.

"What do you want Dee?" I also ask

"you know not everyday does someone needs something from you. Can't I ask of my best friend again"he replies in a smug tone and I roll my eyes.

"You only call me such sweet names when you need something from me Dee" I say in an obvious tone.

"so straight forward. Well you caught me. I need a very huge favor from you" he says in a serious tone now.

"Okay, anything for you" I reply

"Okay, so you know my parents and brothers don't know I'm gay. They are trying to force me into a relationship with some business partner's daughter. And my elder brother is getting kinda suspicious and you know that isn't good" he says and I become confused.

"And where do I fit in this family drama" I ask

" So there is this dinner party tomorrow and I want you to pretend to be my girlfriend for tonight and the entire summer,so I can have enough time to get my parents off my back and then I can open up to them " he says and the my jaw was on the floor now.

" What!!!!" I yelled in to the phone.

You've got to be kidding me.

He has got to be joking. My life is already complicated and he wants to add this weight on top.

He might have done so much for me in the past but this favor is way too big.

And how am I even going to do that. I have never been in a relationship before. The one with my mom has gone down the drain.
