The rest could be conveyed by Chelsea herself to Margareth about the nature of their relationship.

"There's nothing to worry about regarding your daughter's condition. Everything seems fine, but her mind is a bit disturbed, and she's skipped a meal. I think she hasn't eaten anything today, which is why she ended up like this. Please try to get her to eat, even if it's just a few bites, and make sure she drinks plenty of water to prevent dehydration. If her fever doesn't go down by tomorrow morning, then you should take her to the hospital for further treatment."

Carlos listened carefully to the doctor's assessment of Chelsea's condition. What the doctor said made sense. Chelsea's current state could be due to her thinking about an issue Carlos was unaware of, but he knew that something was bothering her greatly.

Carlos wished he could accelerate the investigation into Margareth and Tomas's past. However, many years had passed since Tomas's company went bankrupt, so finding out what had really happened was challenging. But what gave Carlos some relief was that the bankruptcy had nothing to do with Tomas's company or its subsidiary run by Vano. Therefore, there would be no problems between him and Chelsea related to that matter.

"My love, please eat something. Did you hear what the doctor said earlier?" Carlos tried to encourage Chelsea to eat, but she still turned away, crying, and refused to talk to anyone.

Carlos was confused to death about how to persuade Chelsea to eat.

"If this continues, your condition will get worse and you don't want to be lying in hospital. Leaving Daddy at home. I can't hug Daddy anymore because the hospital bed is small. Do you want Daddy not to play with this anymore? Daddy misses this." Carlos whispered in Chelsea's ear, while slipping his fingers under Chelsea's pajamas.

Playing with the end of his adorable circle, Carlos hoped that with this temptation Chelsea would change her mind and eat the taste

“It's been a long time since Daddy enjoyed this. My tongue is sour because I can't find a friend to play with." A little pinch so Chelsea could feel the touch he was giving. Chelsea bit her lower lip, holding back the excitement that Carlos had just provoked.

"Pa," he groaned, catching Carlos' hand from under his pajamas.

"Yes, dear? Daddy wanted this but you ended up sick.” The more regularly you squeeze the circle. Over time, Carlos became addicted to it himself.

"I just don't want to be disturbed right now," Chelsea replied.

"It's just a little time for you, but it feels like an eternity for me. Don't you have any compassion for this old man who's thirsty for your affection? You also disappoint me by keeping all the bitterness to yourself, offering only sweetness and happiness, while you bear all the bitterness and difficulties alone. Is this how a marriage looks in your eyes? Is this how a wife should treat her husband?" Carlos said.

"Dad," Chelsea called out to Carlos again, feeling the pressure to open up about her problems, but she wasn't ready to burden him with everything. She was afraid it would be too much for Carlos.

"What? Why not? Don't you like it when your husband wants to know about your past, even though I love the Chelsea of the present and future? But there's nothing wrong with sharing your troubles with me to make them a little lighter. Even if I can't help much, at least you can share with this old man," Carlos insisted.

"Dad, that's enough!" Chelsea shifted in her seat and stared sharply at Carlos. She didn't like the term 'this old man' that Carlos used to refer to himself.

Chelsea hung up on her words when her and Carlos' lips met. Gently and slowly, the touch was given by the man to silence all the rejection that his wife said.

"Daddy doesn't like his wife, Mama, nagging like a stepmother."

"Yes, but Daddy started it first, calling me an old man. I don't like that."

"Daddy also doesn't like you keeping quiet and hiding problems like this, Darling." Carlos stroked Chelsea's cheek. "Am I your husband or your friend? You should share your troubles with me so we can face the bitterness and happiness of our marriage together. I've never hidden anything from you, but it seems like you have. Instead, you've been silent, crying alone, carrying a heavy burden, and now your condition has deteriorated like this."

"If something happens to you, I'd blame myself for all the misfortune that befalls my wife. So, please, your husband is asking you to tell me."

Chelsea forced a smile, looking at Carlos and observing every movement of his lips. She knew she shouldn't keep secrets, whether about her past or anything else. She also believed that it was time for her husband to know about her arrangement with Vano, focusing more on building her love for Carlos than for Vano.

"There is a lot of bitterness I've experienced in the past, and there's also a huge secret I've kept, a secret I've swallowed because it's too painful for you to know," Chelsea confessed.

"No matter how bitter or how significant the secret you're talking about is, it doesn't compare to seeing you like this. Witnessing you in pain and suffering is far more agonizing than going through it myself. So please, tell me. I'll listen carefully to what really happened in the past, and the secret you mentioned."

Chelsea took a deep breath, reaching for Carlos's hand and gripping it tightly. She wanted to ensure that he wouldn't withdraw from her when she revealed the full extent of her secret. She was prepared for the possibility of divorce if that's what Carlos desired.

For Chelsea, honesty was crucial now, and it was better to reveal everything rather than later when her love for this man had grown immensely. Carlos was the only one she had in this world, and she didn't want to hurt herself or deepen Carlos's pain any further.

"To be honest, it was Indri who found you on the chat app. I showed her your photo, as someone who had been close to my mom. Indri told me that you were on the chat app offering yourself as a sugar baby. She thought you were the perfect target to ruin your relationship with my mom. So, I proposed to you, and we ended up making this new arrangement."

"So, that day you offered to be a sugar baby, not because you genuinely wanted to be a sugar baby but because you wanted to ruin my relationship with Margareth, and prevent a divorce between Margareth and Tomas, is that correct?" Carlos summarized Chelsea's revelations.

Chelsea nodded softly. "Exactly, that's how our arrangement came about. Unfortunately, when I moved here, a new arrangement emerged with someone else."

"Are you saying... in this part..."

"Please, Daddy, I implore you not to interrupt at all, as it will lead to a significant misunderstanding if my words are interrupted like that. So, I beg you to listen carefully and never avoid, even if it's only briefly, because if you avoid, misunderstandings will definitely occur. You won't understand what I'm saying, no matter how hard you try, and no matter how much power you use to find me. I assure you, Carlos Wijaya, you will never be able to find me, Chelsea Febrika," Chelsea's words were firm and she emphasized each word to make it clear that she wasn't playing around. Still puzzled, but Carlos tried to dispel it. He nodded and reciprocated Chelsea's grip on his hand.

"I accepted Vano's offer to make you fall in love with me, to make you grant all my wishes. The request I wanted to make was for you to approve of Vano and Celine's relationship. Unfortunately, I fell in love first, fearing I might lose you. That's why I never stopped seducing you to make you touch me. I was happy to be a complete wife and to share it with Vano!" Chelsea finished with all her secrets without any pauses.

Slowly, she turned to Carlos and observed her husband's response. The moment Carlos released her hand without saying a word, Chelsea tensed up. She felt the loss when Carlos distanced himself from her. Chelsea couldn't help but laugh, watching him.

"Is this the end of our marriage?" she whispered, gazing blankly at Carlos's retreating figure.

Despite the clear warnings and explanations, Carlos still chose to walk away from her. Chelsea was truly heartbroken and had to prepare herself to lose her husband. She lay down to calm her mind and neutralize her anger.

She tried to stay calm, not stopping Carlos because he had made his decision. Chelsea didn't want to force Carlos to stay with her; she realized that what she had done was a mistake. From the beginning, she should have known that when she learned to love Carlos, it would hurt her when he left.

Chelsea should have thought that anything related to Celine would undoubtedly anger Carlos, especially since she had married him to give approval to Vano and Celine.
