VALERIE'S POV

"How did you get this injury?" She asked, concern laced in her voice.

"umm… it's a really long story" I replied hesitantly.

"Good thing we aren't busy right now, we have a lot of time to listen to you" she replied.

"You could shorten it too, just give us a brief summary" Nidha chirped in.

"My kidnapper suddenly decided to change my location so he drugged me and when I finally woke up, I was seated in his car while he drove on an unfamiliar dark road filled with bushes. Apparently he was taking me to a local town so he could get me sold as a slave in an auction that was about to be held. I tried to escape, then he stabbed me mercilessly on my thighs" I explained.
