CHAPTER 77

VALERIE'S POV

"Are you ready?" Nidha asked after taking a deep breath.

"Yes" I whispered softly, taking a good look at the police office building. We were currently parked in front of it.

I followed Nidah out of the car and walked inside the building.

"Come this way, miss," one of the detectives said and directed us to a room.

The police interrogation room was a small, windowless, and soundproofed room which seemed like it was designed to create a stressful environment for the person being questioned. The room had a simple table with chairs on either side, and the walls were painted in a neutral color.

The room was equipped with audio and video recording devices, allowing the police to capture the entire interrogation process. There was a large two-way mirror on one wall, which I believe allowed others to observe us get interrogation without being seen or heard.

"Take a seat" he said gesturing to the two chairs opposite his with just the table separating us.

She’s just as wild and mad as her husband but he needs to be taught a good lesson by Valerie so he can truly cherish her, and I love this book cause they are two funny and she needs to learn how to fight
