CHAPTER 82

VALERIE'S POV

I walked back upstairs, admiring the familiar place… my home.

I kicked the bedroom door open and rushed inside excitedly so eager to lay on the bed. I sighed happily as my body made contact with the soft texture of the bed. It was way more comfortable than the one in Nidha's home. I drift far into sleep just as quickly.

"Valerie!! wake up already" I heard a faint voice say, muffled by my pillow.

"mph" I groaned tiredly.

"Wake up, ugh!" the voice repeated.

I forced my eyes open to see Gabe looking at me with an annoyed expression with Pat standing quietly beside him.

"Why are you bothering me?" I asked while getting up and stretching my arms. I definitely felt more energized than before. "you have a party to get ready for, remember?" Gabe said sarcastically.

"Now get up, Pat's going to transform you into a literal goddess," Gabe said with an excited grin.

"Really? I didn't know you were good at makeovers" I said, my statement directed at Pat.
