CHAPTER 87

PAT'S POV

I was incredibly anxious and concerned for Pat who was involved in yet another accident. I was constantly checking my phone for updates and news about Valerie's condition. My face was tense with worry and eyes were filled with tears as I imagined the worst-case scenario. When Gabe had informed me of what happened to Valerie, I was in shock and couldn't help wondering if there was anything I could have done to prevent it. Despite my own fears and worries, I knew there wasn't really anything I could have done.

I was now sitting anxiously awaiting Valerie's arrival, together with Gabe and Valerie's grandparents. Her mom and dad weren't present at the hospital and I was pretty certain no one had bothered to inform them. Valerie wouldn't have liked them being here anyways.

"OMG!" Valerie's grandmother exclaimed, drawing my attention back to the present.

I was shocked to see Valerie had already arrived together with Stephano, she was taken to the vip section in the hospital.
