Valerie's eyes flutter open repeatedly as she tries to adjust to her new surroundings. Her obvious movements grab the attention of the people around the queen sized bed she layed on. Stephano, Pat and the personal doctor were the only ones present at the moment.

She stared blankly at him as her thoughts went on overdrive. Her memory loss had been made known to Stephano after the doctor had run a check up on Valerie, so Stephano fully expected her not to recognize him at the moment.
