CHAPTER 6

FIONA’S POV

I knew that Aiden was right. We had work to do and we couldn't let our personal feelings get in the way of that. But it was hard to focus on work when all I could think about was Aiden and his confession. As we sat down at our desks and started going through our tasks for the day, I couldn't help but steal glances at him. He was so handsome and charming, and it was clear that he had a way of making me feel special.

By the time I got back home it was already a bit late but surprisingly my parents were both seated in the living room together with Houston. They had the look on their face that just made me know they had something to say to me. But whatever it is, it would have to wait because I was determined on freshening up first.
