"Well, I'm just a third wheel—always disturbing your moments with Mercer," Alicia said, heading into the bathroom with her pajamas.

Calla watched the bathroom door close with amusement. She pondered, "Without this third wheel, passing the CPA exam would've been impossible. Their study sessions would turn into bedroom escapades every time."
