Chapter forty five

Her touch gave me a certain sensation that I’d never felt before and I exhaled as I sat back on the bed to take a closer look at her and sleepy face as she spoke.

“Please don’t go” she muttered as she slowly opened her eyes and those eyes of hers, those angelic eyes pierced deep into mine and they gave me warmth.

I held her face with one hands as I caressed it, “why don’t you want me to go?” I asked her.

There was a certain answer I was longing to get, one I didn’t know why I wanted to get it but then I didn’t get it.

“Don’t go yet, not until I thank you for saving my life “ she said weakly as she coughed and I could notice from how she was trying to move that she couldn’t get up.

“Why would you thank me for that? I would do that for any other lady so why wouldn’t I for you?” I asked her as I smirked.

“I just wanted to say thank you. Besides, after how rude I was to you the last time, I didn’t think you would even come to help me” she said and I smirked, I was glad what happened
