Chapter 196

“Ari, you…” she tried speaking but before she could even say a word to me, I gave her a resounding slap across the face and she stared at me, shocked.

“How could you do this to me, Kira? I’m your sister for crying out loud and you decided to do all these vile things to me?” I asked her as tears streamed down my cheeks.

She chuckled nervously, “Ari, at least listen to me. It’s because…” I couldn’t even let her say another word and I gave her a slap across the face, again and she staggered as she held on to her cheek, shocked.

I moved backwards as I held on to my head, different thoughts racing through it. For starters, I couldn’t help but wonder why she’d ever want me dead.

She had me locked in a freezer for goodness sake!

I had being thinking for the last month that the only reason she had wanted to separate myself and Raymond in the way she did was because she had my best wishes at heart. I had thought that she still considered Raymond a playboy and as such, was looking out for he
