Chapter forty seven

Kira gulped nervously as William walked into the room, staring suspiciously at her.

“Hey baby” she said with a smile as she walked to him, trying to divert his attention from what he had just heard but unfortunately, William was way smarter than her and he knew what she was trying to do.

“Don’t you try diverting my attention with all this. I heard what you just said, who were you referring to?” He asked her again and she swallowed hard.

KIRA’s POV….

I swallowed hard, why did he want to know who I was referring to? Why did it matter so much?

I chuckled as I ransacked my brain, thinking of a good excuse to tell him. What was I even supposed to tell him. God damn it, why did he have to walk in now? Was this how much bad luck thoughts of Ariana were bringing into my life?

Luckily, I was an expert at these games. I knew how to get myself out of them so I decided to use what I had to get out of this sticky situation.
