Chapter eighteen

I sighed as I got off the bed, I was very tired but since I’d now recovered and Selena had made sure to take very good care of me, I had to take care of her house now, it was the least I could do to say thank you to her for not requesting I paid any money as I stayed in her house or for not urging me to go get a job.

I walked to the cupboard after having dressed my bed and took out a white towel before walking into the bathroom. As I showered, my thoughts slowly drifted to Raymond. If I had to be honest, I had been thinking about him since I came here.

There was never a day that passed without him crossing my mind and most times, I’d have to slap myself to get thoughts of him out of my head and I smiled whenever I thought of him.
