Chapter 6

Adrian's POV

I wonder why she is so afraid of me upon knowing I wouldn't hurt her, I'm only trying to help her, to make sure she has a safe place to live. Where she lived before now was the den of lion, if Phoenix doesn't breaks her, surely his girlfriend would do and I don't want to see any Omega suffer.

I drive her to the apartment I came from still in the estate, which is wide and large like a college campus. I've been given the most beautiful block in this estate but it's also the farthest, secluded from other blocks with a flower garden and beautiful fence, a solid golden gate. From seeing this, I'm pretty sure it has been reserved for a great guest, perhaps myself.

At first sight of this apartment, a two storey building, full with servants and maid's upon my arrival, I became so impressed but none of these domestic aides did I got personally impressed by, I need someone like a personal side I can trust, a chef and guide especially as I'd be attending college tomorrow. A lycan prince can't attend college classes tomorrow for the first time in this pack without someone who knows a whole lot about the environment.

I wouldn't love to miss my way or run for lectures so as not to miss any part. I really needed to have someone who carryout same duties of a mother. My wolf has been pleased with her, I can't say why but to satisfy it, I decided to go with it. After a ten minutes drive, we arrive at the apartment which was rented out to me for free. I'll be staying there till my estate is completed, Im being provided with all I need here but still it's not too convenient for me. I can't wait till I'm out of here to my own estate.

"I hope I'll be taking Alessia with me to guide me?" I ask my wolf.

"Yes and so much more!"

"What do you mean by so much more?" I arch a brow, puzzled. I'm only bringing Alessia on because she is diligent from the way I see her and she is attractive, such that of a girl I would love to be seen with as an escort?

I expect my wolf to reply to my telling it that I'm not into any romantic relationship with Alessia after all she isn't my fated mate but it doesn't says anything. I choose to look pass it, opening the side of my car by which I'm sitting to go open the door for her but she had already done that, almost at the same time I did mine.

"When will you start behaving like a woman?" I ask her but she keeps mute, an expression I sense as fear. When she doesn't says anything, I sigh, then proceed to close my own door since she has already opened her door.

"Your Highness," I hear her call when I'm about to lock the car. She's all soaked in panic, I let out a slight grin so that she would be a bit free with me.

"What's that?"

"You're not supposed to be doing all these for me, I'm no one or is there anything you need from me that you're doing all these?" She asks and I take a step back in astonishment. Why is she even asking this? What does she suspects?

"Why do you ask such a question?"

"No, nothing!" She shakes her head, quite afraid. "I just asked. I should be the one serving you, not otherwise!" She replies. I knew that this is what she was going to say but I choose to ignore her. I walk right ahead of her leaving her staring at me by the side of the car, from where she follows me in. The gate is automatic, so it opens as I step close to it. I wait for Alessia to catch up with me least it will close against her, it only recognizes my face for now and unless the individual being recognized walks with another, it would close and not open for her.

Alessia arrives at my side, I gesture her in, upon getting in myself, the gate closed. I watch as she raises her eyes to gaze at the apartment before her, it's of more luxury than the one lived in by the Alpha and his luna. Merely seeing this for the first time, I decided to check inside to see who it was reserved for.

The Lycan king, family and his cabinet, upon their visit. "Since my dad is not here, I'm the lycan king," I said this to fit in into this house, have full authority. "Come in, let's go inside." I guide by the back, through the entrance door. Upon getting inside with her, we stop just by the door, watching as she lifts her eyes to survey the glamor and luxury with which the interior is designed.

"This is where we are going to live. I mean, you as my personal maid. You get that?" I point it out clearly, in case she is scared I would be going into an indecent relationship with her. Hearing me say this, she picks up some courage as could be seen from her face. I nod in assurance.

"Don't worry, you are safe. Let me show you to your room!" I lead her to the room next to my chambers. Since she would be my maid, a personal one as such, I need her close in case I need something at night.

Thirty minutes after arrival, the servants I requested of to come with Alessia's belongings arrive. With my order, they get all of them into her room, arranging them to suit her taste.

"Who's the leader among you?" My voice comes up in a deep, brash tone which sends shiver down the spine of the ten servants here. The eldest among them turns and walks nervously towards me.

"Your Highness, sir. I'm the leader!"

"Okay, good. I'm pretty sure you are scared of what I want to do with you?" I snarl, barring my canines. He nods his head nervously. 

"It's not all about you, tell your Alpha and Luna that I want to have a meeting with them by 8 PM tonight. I have something of great significance to discuss with them, absence will attract severe consequences." I growl, pursuing them out of my house.
