Alessia's POV

I'm so amazed to be asked out this way by a lycan prince, of all lycans, he is choosing an Omega like me to ask out. No matter what, I know that there must be some secret intentions which is making him to ask me out. A prospective lycan king doesn't goes for a chosen mate in the wolf world except those who are getting older like in their forties who believe that they would not be meeting with their fated mates again.

It's assumed and henceforth believed to be true that if a lycan prince or king goes for a chosen mate when he isn't old, then there is some secret he is trying to hide from the chosen mate and his people. Adrian has some secret before he would come to choose me as a mate. I don't deserve such.

I look lost as I sit on Adrian's legs, I wouldn't let him lead me the way of doom by not asking why he wants me as a mate. 'A man's beauty shouldn't lead you to damnation!' This is one of the favorite cliches mom uses to say and since then I've picked it into my head.
