"Daddy,are you gonna come back late again today?"Ava asked me as I picked up my briefcase,she always asked me everyday and I always came late.

"Baby girl,I will try to make it up to you today okay?"I said,not sure of myself.

"Ok daddy.......Alexis,daddy has awesome plans for us today when he gets back,"my babies were getting older and I missed most of it. I think its time I get an assistant, I really need to reduce the work load which are on me and start spending some quality time with my kids.

There was a knock on the door,I went to get it hoping it was their babysitter. I opened it and saw Martha, "Good Morning Martha, you came just in time." She sighed and shrugged before making her way into the house. She was the only nanny who lasted a month with my girls. Don't get me wrong,my twins are angels,when you get passed their trickery -if there was a word like that- and pranks. They are identical girls,which makes tricking people easy for them,you'd catch them doing bad things and they'd keep passing it at eachother till you get confused and leave them altogether,they'd switch classes in school and collect things twice and they'd also want you to do things equally for them both at the same time.

I left for work after kissing the girls good bye,I was pretty early as usual,my Secretary followed me immediately and started listing out my schedule for the day. After she was done I told her, "Ciara,can you put out an ad for a personal assistant, I really need one urgently,"she nodded and went off. I had a meeting with the Falcon holdings in about 10 minutes,I had prepared everything myself, if I had a PA he or she would've assisted me in the presentation.

I was sitting in my well furnished office,typing away on my computer when I saw my best friend,Kevin,popping his head out of the office door." What are you doing here this morning?," he came in fully.

"Came to wish you good luck on your meeting today,"he said smiling at me,I laughed,Kevin was kind of a player,so I knew he wanted to get into the pants of my Secretary that's why he was here.

"Only that?,"I winked smiling. He just gave me the finger and rolled his eyes.

"Oooh,I forgot,your mum is in the building and she is on her way here, " Oh my God, I winced,

"Couldn't you tell me that first? She's been bothering me about getting married and you know the reason why I don't want to do that yet." I didn't want any woman treating my babies badly.

"Brian baby how are you,you look so tired,"my mum gushed coming over to me,looking closely at my face shifting it from side to side." How are my grandkids?" Here comes my downfall.

"I'm fine mum,my kids are ok too," Kevin cleared his throat loudly

"I'll see you later Brian,"that traitor left me.

"I heard their on summer break,who's with them at home,"she asked me faking curiosity. "Don't tell me you left them with babysitters,"she gasped,feigning shock.

"Mum cut it out,I have a very important meeting in about five minutes so now's not the right time to talk about marriage. I've told you mum,I'd get married when the time is right."

"You've been saying that ever since Bailey dropped the twins for you," she whined,she was acting like a four year old who wanted a toy.

"I'll think about it mum,"I said gathering the file for the presentation.

"Good,"she replied happily. "I'm going back home,I feel so tired and sleepy."

"Don't tell me you and dad were up late last night doing the deed," I smiled knowingly. She blushed and went out of my office,phew,that was over surprisingly quick.

There was a knock on my door,I groaned. A blonde beauty came in,she looked flustered,"Good morning Mr Kendall, I'm Tasha Colton."

"Good morning,"I replied shaking her outstretched hand,it was so soft.

"I'm Mr Falcon's personal assistant, he sent me here for the meeting, he had other pressing things which he had to do,"she said,I noticed that she winced when she mentioned Jake Falcon's name. She probably hated his guts like I do,I wonder why she's not stopped working with him.

"No problem with that,we'd get started in two minutes,maybe you should get settled in the board room,"she smiled and nodded leaving the office.

Tasha

My stupid boss got drunk again last night,now I had to do the meeting presentation alone,if we didn't get the collaboration with the Kendall enterprise, we'd crash,I just have to do it.

I headed to the building, sighing sadly. I love this work,I just need a new boss at a different company. I saw an ad this morning for the post of PA to the Mr Kendall, I didn't apply because I wasn't sure if he was a nice man or he was just like Jake. I hoped to find out from the meeting today.

I was still thinking when I bumped into someone at the reception area." I'm so sorry," we both said I looked up at the guy I bumped into. He was stunning,he had spiky red hair,full lips,well carved eye brows. His nose was well shaped like God took his time making them,his lips......were turned in a smirk.

"If you like what you see,you can take a picture,"he said in a sexy baritone. I blushed and tried moving back,but he was still holding me.

"So...sorry,I can stand now,"I stuttered blushing,trying to cover it I lowered my head.

"You sure you didn't do that purposely?"he smirked,"Stop covering your blush,it looks cute on you." And now my whole face was red.

"I have to go,"I said rushing away from him

"My name's Kevin," he yelled when I got to the elevator.

The meeting went by smoothly, we really got along with each other and it was a success. Normally,I was dreading having the meeting with Falcon holdings,because I never really liked Jake,we never got along,though we knew each other since we were just little kids.

After the meeting,we all went to the company's cafeteria to get drinks and celebrate our success. Tasha sat beside me, I felt like she was always beside me,she alwaysmade sure we were just hoped she didn't like me,because she was not my type,she's okay and good looking,but not my type.

"I noticed when you just came and told me you were Jake's PA,you winced." I looked at her for a reaction,she looked so focused."I hope he doesn't hit you or something."

"No,he doesn't. He just picks on me every time and gives me millions of workload," she said and shrugged,like she was getting tired of it. I was about to reply when,

"I met the most...."Kevin started but stopped when he looked at Tasha.He smirked at her and said."I met,literally bumped into this girl who loved blushing,and I already like her." Tasha blushed.

"I have a feeling you're talking about Tasha over here,"said as his smirk increased.The were both staring at each other intensely. "This just got weird,I'll leave you guys,"they didn't even tell me good bye.

Some minutes after 4,I finally got home,this was the earliest I'd gotten home since I resumed from my maternity break,that sounded really weird.

I got to the gate of our home and punched in the code for the gate,I drove in to the garage and safely parked the car in its place;I got down and went straight to the door of the mansion,I could ear screaming and crying from my kids. Panicking,I searched my suitcase frantically for my keys,what could be wrong with my girls......?
