ANNE

Work started today and almost all the babysitters were all booked,it was like parents were waiting for me to open the agency before getting babysitters for their kids. And I liked the fact that we were moving so fast,though I didn't get the chance to meet all the parents,I feel like they'll be nice.

Tasha had not come back from work,she was unusually late,I hope her boss wasn't giving her much trouble. I decided to make dinner,she'll surely be exhausted when she gets back.

My phone started ringing,it was Tasha,

"I'll be home late,"she said from the other end.

"You're already late,what's keeping you?"I asked her

"I'll tell you later,"she said and giggled. This was so unlike her,was she drunk?

"Are you drunk?"

"Of course not,I'm just very excited."

"Come home quick okay,"I hung up,shrugged and went back to preparing dinner.

Some seconds later,my phone rang again,'its probably Tasha,'I thought as I picked up the phone without checking the caller ID

"What did you forget to say?"I asked

"Good evening ma'am,"it was a sexy baritone voice,which was obviously not Tasha's.

"Good evening,please who am I speaking with?,"he cleared his throat and said,

"I'm Brian Kendall,"he said,he's voice was so sexy." A friend gave me your number,that you own a babysitting agency." So he was looking for a babysitter, he's probably married.

"Yh,I do. My name is Anne McClure. Let's talk about your requirements."

"Well,I don't really have any requirements, I just don't want a male babysitter." I noted it down,"Also,I'd like it if the person resumes tomorrow."

"No problem there sir,so tell me about the child," I replied jotting down what he had told me

"I have two girls,they're both 4 years old,they love playing,"he talked about his daughters for a while and hung up later after I told him I'd call him back later.

The problem was,I had available babysitters, but they were all males,and with the way Brian talked,it felt like he needed the babysitter urgently.

I was still thinking about it when Tasha came back,looking all happy and all,"What's making you blush so much?" I asked her as she sat on the breakfast bar,I placed her food in front of her.

"I met this guy today when I went for a meeting at another firm,he was hot and I liked him immediately,"she said blushing while playing with her food.

"Did you fuck him?"I asked staring at her with questions in my eyes.

"Noo,I just met him today,we only talked and he took me out for lunch, we had some drinks and talked for a while,he dropped me and kissed my head,"she said blushing,her whole face was already red.

"That's better,"I sighed,she asked me about my day as usual,I told her all about Brian and the trouble I was having with finding the right babysitter for his kids.

"You're also good with kids,how about you babysit them for the time being?" Tasha asked looking at me quizzically with her head bent sideways. I thought about it,what if he wanted me to stay at his house? I couldn't do that at all.

"Maybe not,"I concluded

"Think about it."

That night I couldn't sleep well,I tossed and turned throughout the night. When I couldn't sleep,I went downstairs to have a drink,I picked up my phone and saw that I had messages.

I clicked it open.

Please its urgent that I get a babysitter by tomorrow morning- Brian

I'd pay you any amount,I don't mind if the person does not stay over,but it'll be nice if they do- Brian

Thank you,I'd be expecting your call tomorrow morning- Brian

Maybe I should tell him I couldn't find one,or I should just go for sometime till I find a new one for him.

I've gotten one,she'll resume tomorrow morning-Anne

With that I felt calm and went to bed smiling.

The next morning,I work up very early and got dressed,I wore casual clothes,I didn't really know what to look like,my only experience with kids was with Rosie,I pray I don't mess this up. Maybe by tomorrow,I'd get a new babysitter for Brian.

I came out of my room and found Tasha lazying around on the couch,watching a movie.

"What are you doing?," I asked standing in her line of view to the television.

"Driving a car,can't you see,"I rolled my eyes.

"You know what I mean."

"I quit my job yesterday,I forgot to tell you,"she replied shooing me away.

"So you'll be working for me?"I was so excited,that means I don't have to be a babysitter today.

"No dear,I'm working at another firm,"she stated." I'll start work tomorrow."

"Oh,"I started to the door." Bye then." I went straight to my car,got in and drove off to the address Brian sent to me this morning. The drive was not really long,it was like 20 minutes.

I got to the gate of the house,no,mansion,it was a very large mansion unlike mine. It didn't look like it was fit for children,I blared my horns and waited for someone to open the gates. Then I heard a beep sound and a voice,

"Good morning,please who are you?"a little girl's voice sounded.

"I'm the babysitter," I replied sweetly,the girl screamed and said,

"Daddy!!!! The babysitter is around." Then I heard a buzzer and the gates opened automatically. I parked my car at the garage which also opened automatically, then got down. This was getting really exciting, I went straight to the door and pressed the bell. I heard the sound of tiny foots running towards the door,the door swung open and I saw two adorable girls. Did I tell you that they were identical,I smiled sweetly waving shyly at them,

"Hi,I'm Ava ,she's Alexis,"the slightly taller one said.

"No,I'm Ava,she's Alexis,"then they started arguing and switching who was Alexis and who was Ava. They I heard heavy footsteps heading towards us.

"Girls,no tricking the nanny,"the voice which sounded like Brian's said. Brian came into view, I saw him and my breath cut in my throat, he was as sexy as his voice, he looked like a model. He was staring at me,as if scrutinizing my look,I wore blue sweat pants,a pink hoodie and a black jacket, I didn't look that bad. He cleared his throat slightly and looked at his kids.

"Em..this is Alexis,"he pointed at the taller one,"And this is Ava,I'm sure Miss McClure told you some things about them,like their allergies and all,"he stated ushering me inside. The house actually looked like there were children,it looked homey and had children couches and dining seats.

"Actually,I'm Anne McClure. All my female babysitters were all booked so I'm here to babysit instead,"I explained,he nodded and showed me a place to sit.

"No problem. I forgot to tell you something about requirements yesterday,can you cook?"he asked sitting across from me.

"Yh,its like a hobby,"Rosie always loved when I cooked for her,she would always ask me to make lunches for her to take along with her to school. Brian sighed in relief.

"I have to go to work now,so maybe when I'm back,we'llget to talk better,"he said standing up and picking up a briefcase beside him." Ava!Alexis! ,daddy's going to work," there was a squeal and tiny feets running down the stairs. They both hugged Brian and whispered something into his ears,

"Don't give Anne too much trouble,okay?"

"Yes daddy,"they chorused as he walked towards the door.

"So?...what fun thing do you have for us today?" Alexis asked me staring at me.

"First,have you had breakfast?"they shook their heads,"Then we'll make pancakes and cookies. After that,we'll draw some amazing pictures of ourselves." I made sure I sounded enthusiastic enough for them to be excited about it. I had brought some colours and other materials for drawing with me,since that was one of the things my sister liked to do.

"I'm excited about this,but how can we paint ourselves,if we can't see ourselves?" Ava asked quietly.

"Alexis will draw Ava and Ava would draw Alexis,"I replied clapping my hands.

"Then who will Anne draw?" Alexis asked, this girls were full of questions.

"Anne will draw Ava and Alexis,"i smiled." So lets go cook."

"Can you make my bow bigger...?" This was going to be a long day.....
