Arthur's POV

However, I did not even have the time to convince her because she snatched my truck key from my hand and stormed off.

The waiter came over with mine and Zaria's food.

He placed it on the table and smiled at me but I couldn't bring myself to smile back. I brought out some money from my pouch and handed it over to the waiter.

“Sorry, this seems to be more than enough.” He said after receiving a lot of money from me.

“It's okay. Pack up the food in a takeaway bag and send them to me.”

“I see, sir.” He said and I nodded, feeling bad about how I'd just ruined my date.

Once the waiter was back with the takeaway items, I grabbed it from him and jogged outside only to see Zaria North pull off with my truck. I could only sigh.

It would be a long walk back then.

“How do I manage to get her to stop being mad at me after I got back?

I could only wonder.

As was strolling around the marketplace, I saw a fish green necklace.
