Arthur's POV

“Go get my new mother, father. I am telling you.”

Tears of joy streamed down my face and I suddenly felt like things were coming together for me.

“Oh, you're such a cute little…” I walked over to my son and pulled him into a hug. From now on, we would finally have a family. No more would we be divided or treated in isolation and most importantly, my son wouldn't have to grow alone. He'd have a strong woman to be his mother. I wondered if Zaria North would be pleased with me enough to take my son as hers. I really hoped she would.

“Thank you so much, son.” I said. Him speaking to me almost gave me like the strength to continue to push on and to never give up.

“I'm grateful for you, my son. I really am.”

“Alright, that's enough.” My son pushed me away from his body after a while. “I'd rather continue painting than let you embarrass me with a hug. “You should also spend the extra time trying to court mom rather than get emotional with me in my room.”
