Chapter 246

Emily woke up to loud snores that was coming from somewhere not so far from where was. She thought it was just mere hallucinations but after listening to it for a while, she was convinced that it was just some distance away from where she was.

“It can’t be Richard, would it?” She asked herself as she stood to her feet and strolled towards the door.

She had been asleep after locking up the room door. Just as she had thought, they made no efforts towards bringing the door down because they wanted to avoid scandal.

Now it was midnight and inasmuch as she was hungry, she wasn’t ready to open the door up for anyone.

“Who is there?” She asked the moment she got to the door.

She knew who it was because from where she stood, his scent was striking and very familiar.

“It’s me, goddess”, Richard mumbled under his breath and immediately, her stomach churned in excitement.

She scolded herself immediately she felt that way. She wasn’t supposed to feel such way for Richard because of the series of
