Chapter 252

Richard sent a downcast gaze across to Emily. He was only trying to help out as a man that he was but she shoved it aside and made him look like a fool. He was disappointed and embarrassed that she tossed him aside like a dice.

Emily kept mute again and stared at Barbara who was still trying to analyze the words that had just come off from the lawyer.

“I brought you here to support me, and you are supporting her instead?” She asked the lawyer who gulped down hard and sighed deeply.

Barbara’s heart was in fury. She wiped the tears that formed on her forehead, but that was not enough to calm her nerves.

“Fine! We would take a deal then!” Barbara said finally when she realized the coldness that existed between Emily and Richard.
