Chapter 186

Brian sat on the large couch and gazed intently at the television. It was a show that had the presence of Richard and Barbara. They appeared so sweet and happy on the television, compared to what he observed the last time he had seen them.

He could smell some cover up and deceit, but the major problem currently was that he couldn’t figure out how Emily was involved in all of it.

He needed to think of something, or he may not stand a chance in saving Emily.

Maybe he had to meet Richard again and peer into his eyes while asking what he wanted to.

He grabbed his keys and walked out of the apartment, he needed to pay them a visit in the company.

Brian got to the company quite earlier than usual. The daily activities were yet to kick in and the only people present were few. It was just 7:am, and it wasn’t surprising to observe that.
