Chapter 191

Emily flickered her eyes and shut them back the moment a bright light passed through them. She wriggled her hands calmly, but stopped when she felt a weight on them.

Groaning lightly, she lifted her head and turned them to the side. Brian sat beside her, with his hands wrapped around hers and his head on another side of the bed.

Emily scrunched her brows confused as she tried so hard to decipher what happened and why she was at a hospital.

“Ouch!” She yelped in pain when she felt a sudden bang on her head.

Almost immediately, Brian jerked up and stared at her intently.

“You’re awake!” He said with pure excitement dancing in his eyes.

“How long did I stay asleep?”

“Twenty four hours”, Brian informed Emily, who scrunched her brows in confusion.

“Don’t stress yourself over anything. We would discuss everything once we are back at Madison”, Brian said calmly and flashed his smile that made Emily’s stomach churn.
