Seraphina, the pack’s witch. She was indeed displaying the witch’s personalities all at once. I mean, I don’t believe a word she said. If it was someone else, I would have felt an ounce of pity for her.

No one in the state she was in would disagree. It isn’t very easy to lose one’s child into the hands of those that just want to exploit her. Having one’s only child in the custody of serial killers, those that only want to use the mother for their evil works through the threats of the child.

I didn’t know why, but my mind still wanted to believe Seraphina. It was true that she had manipulated me before, but would she do it again after she saw how everything turned out to be?

“How can you prove to us that everything you said was true?” I demanded with an emotionless expression. If she wanted us to believe her, she might as well provide some evidence that her daughter was indeed captured so that she, the mother, will bend to their will.
