What happened wasn’t child’s play at all. I have to look into it because something just doesn’t feel right, and I need to figure it out. I wouldn’t want to risk the safety of my family just because of my negligence.

Bringing up the matter to my mate, I will have to talk to him about it. He needs to know how I feel about the sudden occurrence, but ever since the naming rites had ended, I haven’t gotten the chance to do so.

We all went into the hall, the throne room. People threw congratulatory messages at us. Some people greeted us with handshakes and bows, some people greeted us with prayers, while some greeted us with gifts.

Ralph and I accepted them all. We moved to the table where family and friends were sitting, waiting for us.

“Congratulations, sister,” Annora said with a smile. I tried to hug her, but her big stomach was preventing me from getting close, so I just gave her a side warm hug. She has been with me all the way, very supportive.
