The scream from Annora sent me almost flying to God knows where. Why is this happening? Why now of all times? Annora chose to go into labor at this critical time?

I went still on the chair I was sitting on. My brain refused to process any new things at the moment. I felt like I zoned out the moment I heard Annora’s scream.

I mean, why are all these happening? I knew it. The dark sky that happened earlier must definitely have something to do with these unfortunate events taking turns. First, it was Adrian that escaped from the cell, and now, it is Annora in labor. Who knows what will be next?

For goddess’s sake, I was right here enjoying my peaceful life. There were no difficulties, no casualties, no cause to think or be afraid of whatever might happen because everything was so perfect.
