Chapter 71: Uncomfortable but Sweet

Ava's POV

Miguel gave me the room down the hall from his own, which was much closer than I was hoping for, but I couldn’t complain. The room was grand —it was just as large and beautiful as his own, with a fireplace and a huge balcony that faced the garden.

It was beyond beautiful, and I liked it. It was private and homey, and the best part. I wasn't going to be sharing it with Miguel, which was a relief.

I couldn’t possibly share a bed with him if I intended to avoid anything happening between us.
