Thirty nine

Kyra’s eyes were red and swollen that morning as she tried to concentrate on the fabric she was working on but she kept pricking herself with the needle. She’s had a bad night where she spent hours just tossing and turning on the bed, her mind running a mile per minute.

Before, all she thought about was Anton’s advances and how well to avoid them and what to welcome from him. It was totally different now. She now had more than that to think about.

Ever since she found out about Tanya’s existence and had one meal with her, the lady refused to let her be. Starting from when she helped her to her room that day two days ago, she was always at Kyra’s door every morning demanding that they go out together.

Kyra kept giving her excuses that she was taking it easy because she was at the early stage of her pregnancy. She did not want to run around and hurt her baby.

The response she got from Tanya was that the doctor already checked her and she was fine. Still, Kyra refused to leave her room
