Amelia

It was 8 am, and I was getting ready to go to the hospital. Alexander had left earlier to speak to his grandfather. I didn't tell him about the hospital call.

I stepped out of the bathroom and noticed a note on the bed. I picked it up to read; 'BE RIGHT BACK' it was paired with a scribbled writing or drawing that had been cancelled. I couldn't figure out what it was. Perhaps an error.

Was this just another side of Alexander? Or eas he trying to be romantic?

No way! I brushed it off as just a simple note, but it still managed to stir a flutter in my chest. He had never written me a note before. And I’ve never gotten one.
