May naririnig akong ingay. Kinapa ko ang ibabaw ng side table ko at nahawakan ko ang alarm clock na siyang pinaniniwalaan kong kanina pa nag-iingay at umi-istorbo sa tulog ko. Dahil sa inis, wala sa sarili ko itong naibato. I heard it broke and fell. I felt bliss when it stopped ringing so I continued my sleep.
Kung sino ka man, magtago ka na!
"Ano bang problema mo!?" Sigaw ko sa lalaki. "Alam mong natutulog yung tao tapos ga-ganiyanin mo? Ha? Eh kung sa iyo ko gawin yan!?" Dagdag ko pa.
Malamig na tubig ang gumising sa akin. Ramdam ko ang pagbasa ng katawan ko maging ang higaan ko. Mukha na akong basang sisiw, literal na basa!

"Ginising mo ako para lang diyan!? Binuhusan mo ako ng pagkalamig-lamig na tubig para lang itanong yan!? Alam mo! Sumosobra ka na! Alam mong puyat yung tao, i-istorbohin mo!?" Nanlalaki ang matang sambit ko sa kanya!

Aba! Tarsier mo mukha mo!
Ang kapal naman ng mukha niya para ganiyanin ako!?
Puyat ako. Madaling araw na yata ako nakatulog. Hindi ako maka-move on sa pagkain na inorder niya at isa pa, gutom ako! Mahirap matulog kapag gutom!
"What time is it?" Inulit pa, tibay ha?
"Ano bang meron sa oras ngayon, ha? End of the world na ba? Wala ka bang relo? Or wall clock man lang para di mo na ako ini-istorbo!? Sobrang yaman mo, bakit di ka bumili?"
"Just... tell me what time is it." Sabi niya ng nawawalan na ng pasensya.
"H-hindi ko nga alam! Asan ba iyong orasan diyan?" Tinuro ko ang side table ko. "Asan?" Pag-uulit ko pa. Napasapo nalang ako sa noo ko nang maalalang binato ko nga pala iyon kanina. Ano bang ginawa mo, Elle!?
"This is taking too much time. It's already 8:46 AM and still, you aren't ready yet."
Eh alas otso palang naman ah...
"Oh tapos?" Tumalim ang tingin niya sa akin na para bang sobra akong tanga para di malaman kung anong mangyayari. Eh, hindi ko naman talaga alam!

"What wedding?" I innocently asked him. "The wedding!?" I said in shock and he just nodded.

"Labas, mag-aayos ako!" At walang pasabi na lumabas siya. Bakit di ko naisip iyon? Tumakbo ako pasunod sa kanya ng may maalala.

"The wedding gown?" Bumuntong-hininga siya at itinuro ang sofa sa baba.

Minutes passed and gladly, I finished fixing myself. I heard my phone ring. Hinanap ko pa ito at makitang nasa ilalim ng kama ko, paano napunta diyan yan? Still, the phone keep on ringing so I took it and answered the call. It was an unknown number.
"I left five minutes ago, you go on your own. I don't know why I called and tell you this but I feel like I need to. Bye." Pati ba naman sa tawag, wala siyang emosyon?
Teka, umalis na siya!? UMALIS NA SIYA! Paano ako ngayon? Magta-taxi akong naka wedding gown? Sumosobra ka na talaga lalaki ka! Nakita ko rin na kanina pa tumatawag si Mommy, siguro namumula sa iyon sa galit.

The door was closed. Two guys hurriedly ran towards me and carefully assisted me.
"The gown suits you, ma'am." But I don't like it. I forced a smile. Hoping that this smile I'm showing conceals what I'm really feeling right now.
"Congratulations on your wedding. I wish you eternity." The other guy said. Again, I forced a smile. Neither of these compliments fluttered me. I never liked those. I never liked this gown, this wedding and this marriage.
I never wanted to be a stranger's wife.
The sweet music became loud the time they opened the door. I saw everything. The smiles plastered on everyone's lips, the blossoms, the set, the scenery, and the decorations. There were media all over the place. This wedding is so fancy. It was all perfect.
Maganda. Sobrang ganda. Pero... Maganda na sana kung may isang bagay pa. Perpekto na sana kung mayroong pagmamahal. Only if there were affections, only if there were sentiments, but there were none.
Maganda na sana kung mahal ko ang taong papakasalan ko pero hindi, hindi ko siya mahal. Pero mahal ko ang pamilya ko kahit alam kong hindi ganoon katindi ang binibigay nilang pagmamahal sa akin.
I can offer myself up, I can marry a stranger, I can attend a loveless wedding just to save our company. Yes, I can do that. A tear came out of my right eye.

I slowly walked down the aisle as the slow sweet music continued to play. The music was perfect. My dad escorted me.
Wala siyang imik, nanatiling walang ekspresyon ang mukha kaya hindi ko alam ang iniisip niya. Kung masaya ba siya, o malungkot ngayon.
I stared at Klyde while walking a straight path. He still has that expressionless look. His aura is still frigid and stoic just like the moment I met him. His tall built and accurate posture gave a more pleasing look with his tuxedo. He is glorious but has no effect on me. I don't feel anything nor infatuation. Wala, wala talaga.
I noticed his brows furrowed as he balled his fist. Looks like he's out for a fight, but where? Here!? Inside this cathedral!? No way!

Klyde's balled fist is still rolled, but now, it's more rigid. Ano bang nangyari sa kanya?

"Tss." Singhal niya. Tama naman ah, gusto mo pa siya dahil sa nangyari nun sa club. Kawawa nga iyong lalaki nun, bugbog sarado sa'yo. Tsk!
Ang hindi ko maipaliwanag ay bakit nandito si Kendrick!?
"Eh sino nag-imbita sa lalaking iyan?" Kumunot ang noo niya. "Yung katabi ng ex mo."

Hindi ko alam ang mararamdaman ko kung magiging masaya ba ako o maiinis. Masaya kasi itong kasal na ito ang mas maglalayo sa amin ni Kendrick mula sa isa't isa, o maiinis dahil may kasama siyang babae kahit wala nang kami. Hindi ko parin mapigilang masaktan dahil sobrang bilis niyang maghanap ng bago.
I wonder if that's the girl he two timed me with. Kung siya man, ang masasabi ko lang ay magaling siya pumili. Maganda at makikita mo na mayaman, sa kutis palang at sa suot ay paniguradong lilihis ka daraanan niya. She is gorgeous.
Nagseselos ako. Oo, wala na akong karapatan pero nagseselos parin ako. Nagseselos ka rin kaya? O baka naman ako lang itong nag-iisip na may nararamdaman ka pa sa akin?
