As soon as I voiced my question, Aria paused in her tracks. I'd gotten in front of her so I paused as well when I noticed her hesitation.

I turned my head to scrutinize her face under the white light of the lanterns lining up the compound here and there. However, she looked away and sighed.

"Do you really want to hear all that? I mean, no offense, but you're old. Or at least, that's what you said." She shrugged before adding. "Would you be able to understand the relationship dilemma of youngsters like Orion and me?"
