Can't Keep A Man

"Oh my gosh, be so for real right now!” Elizabeth squealed the next morning in school when I told her everything that happened the previous night with Sylvain.

I panicked, bumping her with my shoulder after looking around. We were in the hallway, making our way to class, and to my dismay, the hallway was packed with students.

"Could you keep it down?" I whispered to her, sighing with frustration. "Yes, everything I told you happened. Why would I be lying?" I rolled my eyes.

She nodded, trying to compose herself even though her eyes were shining with excitement.

She held my shoulder, forcing me to glance at her. "Girl, I'm so proud of you. You made the first move and actually kissed him. If someone had told me you'd do that when I first met you, I would've laughed at them." She giggled like an over-stimulated teen at the end.
