6: With Alpha Sae

Morning has come, and Denise trying her best to forget what happened last night. Everything that she saw, she may want some explanation but she is afraid that the beast might get out and suddenly kills her instantly. That, she doesn't want that to happen!

"Are you okay? You look so pale." Sae asks her causing Denise to jump a bit in surprise and blink her eyes twice. "Is there something going on? You look scared."

Denise could feel the sweat around her body even on her forehead! She breathes in and out to make herself as calm as possible. When she finally regains her sanity she speaks. "I am sorry, I just couldn't forget about what happened to me last night." She was a bit worried after hearing it. He tightened his grip on the spoon and fork he was holding. "I had a nightmare."

Sae and Beta Dane look at her. "What nightmare?"

"It was a beast trying to get in my room. It looks like he was targeting me, wanting to kill me." Sae just shut his mouth listening to what Denise was saying. "I am afraid."

She smiles at her and speaks. "Don't be afraid. If ever the beast will come to your room, just shout my name in his ear and you'll be fine." Denise stares into his eyes and slowly nods her head.

Denise was just in her room doing nothing since Alpha Sae didn't want her to do anything. She got up and decided to go to Sae's office room. She knocks on his door and lets her in. "What brings you here?"

"I have nothing to do. Can I stay here and maybe I could help you with something?" She looks at her and taps the chair beside him. "Here, come here."

Denise immediately walked towards him and looked at his desk and how messy it was. He told her that she could clean the mess and arrange his books alphabetically on the shelves so if ever he needed to find a book, he could see it immediately.

While organizing the books he saw an album with family pictures. It was Sae and his family. He looks at him and then looks at the family picture in his hands. "That's my family."

"Where are they now?"

Sae stopped from writing and stared at the papers. "They are all dead. Someone killed them."

"I am sorry! I didn't mean to open that. I am sorry for asking Alpha Sae!" The Alpha just giggles and speaks.

"You don't have to say sorry. Continue what you are doing and we will be having lunch outside." Denise raises her eyebrows upon hearing it. "Why? Don't you say you have nothing to do here? I guess it is nice to let you go with me where I am going, right? So at least you will gain some experience." Denise was delighted after hearing that. "You will become my secretary from now on if it is okay with you?" Denise nodded in response.

Beta Dane was the one who was driving the car, Sae was in the front seat while Denise was in the backseat, sightseeing in the window still amazed by the stores she could see. To Alpha Sae, Denise looked like a kid wanting to try every food store she could see which made him smile. "Dane, stop the car." Beta Dane immediately stops the car and opens the door in the backseat. "Come here, this bakery is the best among all. I will buy you some."

"N-no Alpha Sae! You don't have to do that, I am not even hungry."

"Relax, I was just trying to treat you. You don't have to pay me, okay?" Since Alpha Sae insists on letting her come with him, she doesn't have a choice but to follow him. He even held her hand which made Denise feel embarrassed.

Both of them went in and saw that there were no customers since the store just opened that day. "Hi," the man stopped speaking when he saw Sae in front of him. "Alpha Sae! What brings you here?" he smelled Denise from afar and was shocked to know that his Alpha was with an Omega. This is ridiculous for him!

Denise noticed the change in the behavior of the man after smelling her. "Don't think bad about her, Nilan, or else I will cut your head."

"Man, chill! I am just surprised that you are holding an Omega's hands?"

Nilan and Sae were best friends and because of Sae, Nilan was able to build his own business, which is a bakery shop that became famous for rich people because of its good quality and expensive price. "Stop the bullshits, we are your customers, aren't we? Assist us." The authoritative voice of his Alpha causes him to immediately move and pick the bread that he wants.

After that, Nilan bagged the bread that they chose and gave it to Denise. The lady thanks him causing him to smile. "But, seriously man? What happened? This is new to you, I know you, Alpha Sae. You don't like women so how could you be with her?" Nilan whispers when Denise is far away from them and looking at the bread displayed near the glass door.

"Shut up and stop the formalities. That woman is my mate." Nilan's eyes widened while pointing at Denise with his index finger. "Yeah, you dumb. Cut it out, stop pointing at her!" Sae also whispered but Nilan's eyes were still wide open.

"An Alpha mated to an Omega? Is that even possible? Are you okay? Maybe that woman just hypnotizing you? Or what? Tell me, man! I will help you get out from her!" She pinches his ear causing him to groan in pain. Denise heard it and looked at them.

She immediately took the bag and took Denise's hand to get out of the store. "What happened?" Sae shook his head and opened the door.

"Nothing, don't mind it."

Right after they went out of the store, Sae stopped when a man was now standing in front of them. Staring at them, especially at their hands intertwined. The man smirks Denise and smirks. "My, My, what we have here, huh?"
