5: Who is He?

It was late in the evening and Denise got up because of the pain she felt from the bruises and wounds she got from Alpha Jack. She looks at her room and tries to find some water and finds one on a table. She went to the table and took the glass of water.

Denise was looking out the window, and fortunately, it was a full moon, so her yellow eyes shone from the moonlight. She was absorbing energy from the moon with her eyes. This is what werewolves do, especially when they are sick. The full moon helps them recharge and heal, but in her case, her wounds cannot be healed immediately due to the torture she faces every day.

After clouds cover the moon, Denise's eyes come back to normal and look around. She took a cookie on a plate and smelled it before eating. "Taste good," she mutters.

She was about to get in bed once again but her wolf sensed a threat in the mansion. 'A tremendous power and a ferocious being is residing in this mansion.' Denise trembles in fear after hearing it in her wolf. Her wolf might be quiet and doesn't talk that much but when it speaks, it knows for sure that something dangerous is happening around their area.

"Should I go take a look?" she asks herself still having thoughts about whether to go out or not but she suddenly remembers what Mr. Dane told her earlier.

She looked at the clock on the wall and saw that it was already eleven in the evening. But the curiosity that she had about what her wolf saying caused her to want to know what was happening below the floor. Even though it was a slight noise she could hear a wolf growling. A wolf that looks like trapped in something and that wants to get out. Without her wolf's senses, she wouldn't be able to hear it.

'Do you hear that sound? It is a wolf voice,' Denise asks her wolf but she doesn't receive any response from her causing her to bite her lower lip. She put the glass on the table and started walking to open the door. She looked side by side in the hallway but all she could see was darkness and the only thing that lit up the place is because of the full moon.

She heard it once again. A werewolf is enraged. Seconds after the growl of that werewolf she heard was getting closer and closer in her room causing her to shut the door and completely lock it.

Denise's heart raced because of what she had sensed. The beast was running towards her room, she could hear its footsteps. Every second the footsteps are getting closer and closer and a loud bang could be heard causing her to fall to the ground in surprise. She felt fear. She is afraid of what will she see when that beast that is running towards her room comes out in front of her.

"Alpha Sae."

Unconsciously, Denise speaks his name trying to call him and to be able to gain courage but the loud bang us getting closer and closer. It was like trying to find something in each room.

"What is it?" she mutters when she senses that the beast is finally now behind the door. She stood up and went to her bedroom trying to find something she could use. "Alpha Sae." She called him once again hoping that the Alpha could hear her calling.

The beast behind the door smells Denise unfamiliar causing it to be in a rage. This is the first time that a beast smells different in its whole life residing in the mansion. When the beast senses that the lady won't come out, he tries to break the door but luckily the door is made by something that cannot be broken easily. However, that did not make Denise feel relieved. She was anxious that the door might be broken any sooner.

"Alpha Sae." She called once more and closed the door causing the beast to calm down.

'Someone. Someone was coming.' Her wolf speaks causing Denise to be more afraid. She could hear the footsteps of a person coming towards her room too and stops right in front of her door's room. She could hear the sound of a beast immediately falling on the ground which left Denise confused and stared at the door. 'He fell asleep.'

He?

Denise immediately went to her bed when she sensed that the person behind the door slowly opening the door. She covered herself with a blanket with her eyes closed. "The lady is still sleeping." She heard the familiar voice of a man. She may want to know who that person is but she can't as she is afraid to be caught.

When the person finally closes the door and leaves with the beast, she can't stop thinking of what is happening and what kind of beast resides in the mansion. Does the scratch on the wall that she saw earlier relate to the beast that wanted to head inside her room? And what does her wolf say about "He?"
