MAX’ POV

My phone rang, and when I brought it out of my pocket, I discovered it was Jezebel who was calling me, so I answered the call.

“Hey, baby.” She spoke, with so much joy, felt in her voice.

I walked towards the balcony, and stepped out to take her call.

“Hi love. How are you doing?” I asked as I dipped my other hand into my pocket.

“I’m okay. I was missing you so much, today, so I had to call, to check up on you.” She said, and chuckled.

I smiled, and sighed.

“What’s wrong, baby?” She asked, noticing the difference in my behavior.
