Alpha Farrell’s Pov

I knew a storm was gathering. Not just the rain clouds that gather overhead in my pack. It was more like a feeling Aiden had warned me about. I did not want to take my chance with my people’s safety, mobilizing my men in the most minute form so as not to garner attention from the public.

“You knock sometimes when you go to someone’s house. Not just disappear inside it like you are a part of their family,” I said as my coat flapped in the wind.

A lady walked next to me, her black silky hair flowing with the wind like my coat, with a smile on her face. “You always know when I’m around.
