Melissa’s POV

One month later.

The gown in front of me was sparkling, casting glittering lights from its reflection as the helpers helped me don it.

“It’s pretty, mummy,” Daemon said with his brother running behind him.

The helpers stood at the door, stopping them from reaching me for fear of them ruining it.

“Let them in,” I said, waiting for my boys to run into my arms.

They came in haste, but mounting their distance, even as curiosity pushed at them to touch my gown.

“My wife is going to wear one like this when I get married,” Damian said as he caressed the gown.

I threw him a smile, bending as low as my gown would allow me to touch their heads. “Of course she would,” I said as I pinched his cheeks.

“Are you ready?”

I raised my head to meet Aiden as he stood in front of the room, dressed elegantly, for the matter. “I am.” The answer was no surprise for me as I straightened my gown while Aiden held out his arm for me.
