Alpha Alfredo’s POV

The car was silent as we drove to Lockhart Pack, I could see Sheila throwing side glances at Claire and also at me but I pretended like I was focused on my driving. Well, that didn't last long as Sheila began her interrogation, asking all sorts of questions and Claire was wise enough to agree to being a seer, and that kept her quiet and satisfied.

I wouldn't blame Sheila though, if I were to be in her shoes, and some random man I've never seen before suddenly shows up when we're on our way for something important I'd be suspicious. And to make things worse, I didn't fill her in completely, I only told her we'd be having company.

“Looks like a lot of things have changed since the last time I came here,” Sheila said as we drove into Lockhart's territory.

"You're right, Love," I said in agreement, placing my hands on hers and caressing it gently. They have turned everywhere into a sort of greenery with plants dotting almost every region.
