Chapter sixteen

"What do you mean that is not what happened?" I say confused. What does he mean? His father did not kill my mother? Then who did?

"My father did not kill your mother, Kristy. Is that what your father told you? What exactly did he tell you?"

"Not much, that is why I asked. I still have so many questions about my mother's death. Every time I brought it up to my dad he would just get angry, so I stopped asking."

"Alright come on let's go," Axel says and he gets out of the water.

"Go where? Why can't you just tell me what happened?"

"I can but you'll have a lot of questions. Questions I can not answer."

"Who? Where are we going? please just tell me."

"You will see," Axel says and he shifts back to his wolf form and runs back to his car. I get out of the water quickly shifting and chasing after him. I try to catch my breath when we arrive at the tree line where we left out clothes and put them on.
