Chapter Fourty

Jack POV.

I feel lost. I want my daughter to be save. I want to be in control of her safety. She doesn't know half of what is going on in this world and I don't know how to tell her. I tried everything. I really thought she would have stayed. She came by herself against the will of her mate. She is strong. No one can go against their Alpha's orders, not even a mate. They outrank each other, An Alpha's order overpowers a Luna's order and her will. She has no option but to obey. But somehow she did get away.

I sit in my office thinking about everything I did to get her back. Thinking about other ways but I am out of ideas at this point. Maybe, just maybe she changes her mind. I hear a knock on my door and look up. My Beta Rick is in the door opening.
