Alpha Damien felt a cold wave of anger wash over him when the guards reported that Mike had vanished without a trace. There was a feeling of unrest in the room as pieces of information came through.

"Alpha," Alfred began, his voice laced with frustration and concern, "we searched Mike's residence thoroughly. There was nothing left—no personal items, no signs of a struggle, nothing. It's as if he vanished into thin air. We spoke to the neighbors, and they mentioned seeing him moving things out of his apartment over the past week. But for the last two days, he’s been completely off the radar. No one’s seen or heard from him."

Damien's jaw tightened, his eyes narrowing as he processed the information. "So, he was actually in on this," Damien muttered, more to himself than to anyone in the room. "He started clearing out a week ago, knowing full well what he or they were about to do."
