NINETY-SIX

ARES’S POV

I still regaled in the way my last meeting with Dahlia had gone, despite my intentions just to leave her stranded, I was also stranded myself. Leo was right, it was just an ego trip that satisfied neither of us, it still satisfied my pride though. I remembered the desperate look of lust in her eyes as she looked up at me, I could have had her there and then.

“But you decided that your ego needed to be satisfied first.” Leo said.

“Don’t be so bummed, eh Leo? Dahlia's not running away, things will be sorted out.” I replied confidently as I walked up the stairs.

I got to the bedroom and waited for sometime, expecting Dahlia to walk in any time soon but she didn’t. Then I heard a car pull into the driveway and I looked at the time. The darkness was beginning to cover the sky, who was visiting this late? I didn’t bother to check, I just laid on my bed, waiting for a knock on the door.

Three minutes later it came and then a maid walked in and bowed to me.
