ARTHUR & MILA

Arthur kissed Mila fully on her lips for a long moment, to her it seemed like ages and to him, it felt like centuries. Time stood still for them as they kissed. There was no telling what mates felt when they are apart, and only Mila and Arthur could express that, but not in words. It was their lips and bodies that was showing how much they have longed for each other.

“I am sorry,” Arthur whispered as he pulled back and placed his forehead against hers, making them whole.

“I know,” Mila swallowed. How she had missed touching him, being close to him, feeling his scent on her body. As his breath flourished on her face, she felt an ache in her chest that represented anguish and a feeling of loneliness.

Arthur placed his hand on her back and traced it from the nape of her neck to her waist, raking her spine with his fingers, making her shiver.
