ARTHUR & MILA

Arthur was shocked at these words. “But…” Arthur blanched. “But I have been asking the same, to mate with you.”

“But I am asking to mate with you once you have firmly decided,” Mila corrected him. “Right now you want to mate because of Bash, but I want you to have a decision, whether you are my mate or not. And then you decide.”

“If I decide not to be together,” Arthur spoke very sadly, “not that it will happen,” he added hastily, “won’t our linked minds be a problem?”

“For a while, it would be,” Mila nodded. “But over time this bond fades. It faded for my mother. After a while, or should I say the moment my father revoked my mother permanently, the bond broke. I guess the wolves accept that the person is not their true mate and they start hunting for someone else.”
