CHAPTER 96

ARTHUR & MILA

Mila finally came through and sat on her bed, feeling hollow. She could sense Arthur, but it felt to her that he was not in the palace, instead, he was outside, in the opposite direction of the palace and a little far away from her at the moment.

Dismissing this as confusion, she lay back on her now dusty bed. She was too new to this mate’s business, and maybe she was not reading this feeling of connection right!

“Should I take Rah with me to Arthur’s chambers or not?” Mila asked herself, aloud. She needed to take back Rah to Osho – Osho was quite adamant about it. “Maybe I should first get my amulet back!” she added, still lying on the bed.

She recalled all the places she had been in the palace and unfortunately, Arthur’s chambers were not one of the places.

She raised her hand and opened a very small, almost non-existent, hole in the hearing chambers. It was dark there, and it seemed empty.

“Anyone there?” Mila asked in a sing song voice, and when no one responde
