Chapter 167.

NOEL'S POV

As I walked towards the dungeon, I did my best to keep my emotions in check, but it was a failed battle because my mind was a whirlwind of thoughts.

Despite having defeated Logan and his men, I was still wary of him and what he was capable of. I was almost at the door when I halted and beckoned a soldier nearby.

He hurried to me and bowed in reverence. I leaned in closer to him and whispered a few words. He nodded and hurried away.

While waiting for the soldier to deliver my message, my mind inadvertently trailed to Logan.

How can one man possess such strength? I knew he was going to wake up soon, but not anytime soon because he had inhaled a reasonable quantity of the gas.

My thoughts were interrupted by the appearance of Howard beside me, bearing a vial that contained a green mixture.

I looked at the vial, and somewhat got the courage to pull at the dungeon's door and let us in.
