LOGAN’S POV

“There’s no way you can convince me now that-that-that you aren’t drunk!” Gertrude burped loudly.

“I am not,” I gazed at the stars.

“Grant me this wish if you’re truly in heaven, oh God,” I whispered.

It turned out that Gertrude emptied the two bottles of whiskey before I could pour myself another glass. He became drunk and began to speak gibberish. I grabbed his string and returned to my room. After tying Gertrude’s string on my wardrobe, I fell asleep.

“Who is it?!” I asked angrily. I was really close to taking off my clothes.

“You may come in, Luke,” I invited him into my room.
