Aurora Hemsworth's life is doomed when she's forced to marry the Alpha of Knight Bloodline to protect the royal werewolf bloodlines from the attack of the new creatures that dwell at night. But she'll die rather than give up her freedom to some dominating Alpha she never met before. So she has one choice left- SpellMoon Academy. An academy for witches and werewolves to learn and become the best of their capabilities. And the winner of the Annual competition becomes the leader of the academy, getting their army to defeat any powerful entity in the world. Yet fate takes a sharp turn when she finds out that the man she was running away from studies in the same academy. Will she be able to steer clear of her biggest fear to win the competition and save the fate of the bloodlines? Or will she fall for it? "When I heard about the marriage proposal, I was sure to not fall in this marriage trap. But after meeting you, I'm not so sure anymore."
Lihat lebih banyak"Breathe." I repeat. The scraped wooden door stands in front of me, awaiting my decision. I have to do this. My quivering fingers stop at the cold doorknob. Will they catch me? The knot in my stomach grows tighter with the thought.
"Come on,Aurora. If it gets too late,we will be caught." Sia my wolf reminds me and I twist the knob.
The door makes a creaking noise as I slightly pull it. I hope no one hears it because of the rain outside. Darkness embraces my eyes, fervent cold wind biting at my skin.
The pitter-patter of rain and the smell of wet soil are the only elements that wrap my werewolf senses. Dad's guards must be on the front side of the mansion, protecting their costly suits from drenching.
I exhale, releasing all my tension and step outside. My black cloak protects me from drenching and rain boots make a squeaking sound as I step over the puddles. Cold dampness shrouds my body, making me grimace at the weather.
I look around me and find nothing except the silhouette of trees and the colour of the sky changing as the thunder strikes. Relief floods my mind.
"Hey!" A vague male voice reaches my ears. Shit!
My legs start sprinting even before I can spell out my name. Strands of my wet hair stick to my face as contour lines of small trees and grasses blur past me. Water splashes underneath my boots and all I can make out is the line of trees bordering the forest ahead of me.
The sound of footsteps gets heavier with each passing minute. They are near. Run faster!
My legs take longer strides but something tells me to stop. I halt in my steps as small dots of light dance amidst the blurred darkness, growing bigger with each passing second towards me.
With the lights on my face, flashes of the past flicker in front of me focusing on the day when my father decided to drop the bomb on my head. I was supposed to get married to Alpha Tristain Knight of the Knight Bloodline.
I would have been dancing on my feet after the hearing the news only if I was one of the female werewolves who had nothing to do except about their dominating mate.
"Hey! Stay where you are!" A familiar voice travels from those balls of light bringing back to the present and my eyes fall on the lines of the men holding the flashlights as they approach me. I'm officially caught. Superb!
A sensation of fear and helplessness crawls up my spine, making me shiver and stare ahead in utter blankness. The group of men under black umbrellas and holding flashlights obstruct my means of escape.
If my intentions can be put in simplw words, then this explains it best.
I hate Alphas! Especially the royal bloodline ones. Watching the person who had done nothing but torture mother and me, I have come to realise that all of these alphas just say that dreadful word, claiming one to be their mate and do whatever they want with their, giving it the name of love.
Power makes these arrogant dicks thing they can do wahtever they want. But no one claims me. No one! I will make sure of that.
I stay still, my feet rooted to the muddy, wet ground for support. "Princess! What are you doing here?" One of the guards demands. Even after living in the twenty-first century, being the blood of a Hemsworth makes these idiots treat me as some kind of royalty.
Silence reigns over my quivering lips and the cold raindrops blur the frame of the trees waiting for me behind the cage of my father's guards. They call me.
At this point, I have only two choices in front of me. Either I surrender and marry the ruthless Alpha or I take a chance and be free from this obligation. And I made my decision the day I thought to run away.
"Princess Aurora! Please head back to your room!"
I close my eyes, calling on Sia to take over me. The sound of rain overwhelms every other voice I can hear around. And it begins.
The pain of bones cracking and rejoining shoots through my spine, making me scream. I grit my teeth and bend down to ease up the agony of body reformation. Everything fades into blinding darkness and tears spill through my eyes. After what feels like an eternity, the pain slows down. Indistinct voices spring to my ears and I open my eyes to find my dad's men hovering over me.
"Aurora! Where are you?" Tessa calls me through the telepathic link. Time to escape.
"Coming." I convey my thoughts with a mental picture of my situation.
The guards circle and stand in a defensive mode around me. Growling, I lunge forward crashing onto one of their bodies, resulting in his fall. My claws stay inches away from digging into his flesh.
"Princess! Please stop! Don't do this!" The guard begs beneath me. Guards are not allowed to attack any member of the family. So all this poor man can do is defend himself. Not that I have plans on killing him.
"Miss Aurora Hemsworth!" The heavy voice of the man I fear cuts through the sound of the rain. I turn my head to find my overly proud father standing under an umbrella held by one of his men. "Go back to your room, right now!" His loud voice shakes my determination, his figure standing tall and under the shadow on his face, i can see those black eyes staring straight at my soul.
If he had not pushed me to a corner with his decision, I'm sure I would have bent my knees in front of this man who could even scare a beast.
Stay or run? I look ahead me, the forest appearing like nothing more than a mist of darkness. I have always respected his decisions. But it's time...that I respect mine.
Not wasting more time, I jump out of the circle and start sprinting towards the forest. Footsteps run behind me, voices calling me to stop and monstrous trees shade my sight as I run straight into the forest.
I'm sorry, mom. I hope she takes care of herself.
With every step ahead, the voices behind me get lost in the silence of the woods. Wet leaves and branches latch to my paws and the sound of my pacing heartbeat drums in my ears. Adrenaline pumps through my veins as every leap I take pushes me towards an unknown sense of danger.
The trees gradually lead to a clearing and the sound of gushing water hits my ears. It is the river! I run towards the source and find myself standing in front of the Yarra River. It was my plan to cross this river.
But those plans included crossing it using the bridge. And where I am standing, there is no bridge at sight. Running away from the gaurds made me unaware of the track I was taking.
Looks like I have no other choice but to cross it in my werewolf form.
Inhaling deeply, I lunge myself forward into the revolting waves. My paws splash into the ice-cold water, sprinkling some droplets into my face and I make it up to the land before I can spell my name.
Yay! Sia: one, River: Zero.
"Cinn!"A familiar voice invites me and I look up to find two figures running towards me."Oh, my hams! You turned? Why?" Tessa scans Sia from head to toe.
She is my best werewolf friend from school who comes from the royal Stone bloodline like me and has the absurd habit of speaking in terms of food. Even my nickname came from the spice 'Cinnnamon'. She believes that it somehow matches my character. Sweet yet spicy.
"Leave that, Tess. She made it! That's more important right now." Alex reminds her and smiles at my huge form which kind of intimates his whitchy self. Correction: warlocks. How he became friends with me is kind of a long story. Witches and werewolves don't usually go hand in hand.
I had told my friends to meet me across the river with Alex's car to get away from here.
"Yup. Do you have an extra shirt and pants? I left mine." I inform Tessa through the telepathy. The change in her expressions from deep concentration to relief tell me that I am saved from travelling naked to London.
We walk over to Alex's car and I change into her baggy shirt and pants inside the car. The otherwise loose shirt clings to my body like a second skin because of the water.
"Yes! We finally did it, Cinn! SpellMoon academy, here we come." Tessa jumps in the passenger seat.
I had told my friends that in order to escape from the marriage, I needed somewhere to hide. And SpellMoon Academy is the place I have chosen for certain reasons.
"Yeah. I seriously doubted if Aurora would make it or not." Alex looks at me and I give a faint smile. My eyes dart back to the blurry image of the trees relishing under the rain. Escaping my home was never a choice.
But I cannot give myself over to some arrogant Alpha and destroy my life. In no way, am I going to be the mate of the Alpha of Knight!

Hello beautiful readers. Finally we come to the end of this journey. I'm grateful to you all for being with me through it and giving your love to Tristian and Aurora. I apologise for the mistakes I have made. I will definitely edit this story to make it even better. Though this is not the end of my journey here. I would be sticking around, writing more books. If you enjoy werewolf stories, then check out my latest book "Chased By The Dark Alpha". Last but not the least, it would be great if you leave a small message on how your reading experience has been in the reviews. I would be eager to read them. Thank you once again for sticking around. Love you all. ~Pixie
Another two months pass by and things slowly get back to normal. I learned that after the attack, something was found inside Simon that put him into paralysis. I know that it was my wave. Tristian told me that the Shadow Society placed the blame on him, saying that he was responsible for not taking care of the academy well, but later reasoning made it clear that Simon was the headmaster of the Academy for a very long time. He killed the founder, making it look like an accident and then played his cards to capture the Academy. And the Shadow Society was the one who granted his request to be the headmaster of the Academy. Which means that it was their fault, not Tristian's. Rather he was investigating this case for a very long time and wanted to throw off Simon from his position, but no matter what he did, Simon proved to be not guilty and the Shadow Society rather supported Simon. So, the decision was made that due to the poor reasoning skills of
A bright light sets upon my vision, making me go blind. Well, who said only darkness can make you blind? I would like to change that theory. For a moment, I feel nothing except a strange warmness flooding through my body and mind. After the battle, I remember his face. Perfectly chiseled, a part of it shadowed by the darkness and those baby blue eyes glistening. So beautiful. I wish I could touch him again. Alas, I have to wait in heaven for that. Wait! Heaven? Am I in heaven or was I sent to hell? But if I am supposed to be dead, should I be even having these thoughts?"Aurie! Aurie!" My mother's voice booms out from the white space. Mom? She is here? "Look, she is showing movement. Doctor!" The doctor is also in heaven-slash-hell? And who is showing movement? The warmness that spread throughout my entire rises in temperature, going from comfortable to hot. Bloody hell! What is happening? I am surely in hell. I can'
I open my eyes to find Simon on the other side, looking up at me. Yes! I have finally turned!!! Sia! Now it is upto you! Sia gives out a loud growl and lunges forward, crashing with the wall. Simon has moved away and attacks from above. I now understand his speed, so Sia moves away just at the right time. But, his movements are still fast and they are getting faster with time. Time! I don't have time. If I strain this too long, Sia will eventually fall. I have to do something. Think, think.Something stabs Sias's body and we both grunt in pain as the thing pierces our inner muscles. What the—another hit comes from the front, but Sia dodges it and goes straight for Simon's body, and gives him a blow like a bull. The impact throws him at the other end of the tunnel. Sia, it's alright. Calm down. We have tolerated much more than this. She tilts her head and takes out the staff Simon stabbed us with. She throws it away, and blood star
Screams are heard from everywhere as people run around in fear and the smoke covers everything. Smoke from the bombast. The blast happened through one of the corners of the room but it is hard to tell that from where exactly. The moment the fire started spreading, the horrific sight of a few people going unconscious terrorised me and without having a second thought, I ran for their rescue. Tristian called a few times, but his voice faded away and mingled with the screams that were still coming through the fog, piercing my ears. The students are still scared, I can tell. Even I am too. Who thought something like this would happen? I don't have any doubts on Tristian's security setting, but the problem is the attack happened from the inside and not outside. Which is not possible, until someone led this attack inside.I kneel down to check on the bodies lying on the floor. There is one male student, probably a witch lying unconscious. Oh MoonGod,
We step into the dance floor as per the plan. We stay close to them and I do my best to not look at him. Yet I can feel his stare on me. Breathe, breathe! Alex holds me by the shoulder and his other hand holds my hand. We start moving with the music slowly and get the grip of the dance."I can't be thankful enough to you. I can't imagine what you are going through or have been going through for so long." I say with every inch of genuineness in my voice."You are like this only, Aurora. You become tough in front of other people, but you forget to defend yourself when you are with your loved ones. It should be me thanking you. You were there for me from the beginning even though I was a man and someone opposite to your species type. I took the time to realise that you did so much for me and all I did was be selfish and take the essence of the friendship away from you. Yeah, it is tough, but love is all about sacrificin
I sit on the washroom floor and pull out my mask. Tears stream down my eyes like the dams of a river, probably messing with my makeup. I put so much more attention into it while doing it so that—so that when he sees me, he finds me beautiful. But right now, he has already moved on from me. So quickly. And that is no other than Jessica! My frustration would have been the same if it was any other woman, but still. I thought things were better between us after the incident. Yet nothing changed for her. She still has her eyes on him and now her wish has come true. While I...I weep on the floor reflecting on what a failure I am. I guess my dad was right. I am never good enough for anyone.I should go back to my home, apologize to him and take in the fate that I have. Atleast, it will be good enough if I marry some other Alpha and then show him in front of Tristian. He will understand the meaning of jealousy then. Yes! He will be so jealous!&
"Ugh!!!" I throw the last dress on the floor, frustrated by the less amount of choices I have. Why don't I have a good dress at all? Am I poor for now? After Peter told me about Tristian's past yesterday, he gave me an idea that can work. The ball is a great way for people to come together and if I can steal the show with my appearance then maybe I would be able to get close to him. But there is no good dress for that!"I think you should wear the dress you designed for me." Tessa says, putting the dresses back to their respective hangers."No, Tess. I made that for you.""But it's beautiful and you need it more right now!" She counters. She knows about Peter's plan because she is his girlfriend right now. And they together came up with the plan to go for a triple date at the ball. Yes, that is a thing too. Peter, Tessa and I. Like the sausage in the middle of the hot dog buns. It sounds so weir
I hold the bedsheet and clutch it between the suppression of my fingers while my eyes stream down tears. It has almost made the bed wet. Tessa is in the auditorium hall, working in my place to manage everything. After she saw my condition, she tried soothing my nerves, but I was in no mood to go back to my usual self. She understood that and told me to rest while she handled it. I'm sorry Tessa, for judging you. I thought she has stopped liking me because she is with Peter. But I was so fucking wrong! She was there for me from the beginning and what was I doing? Judging her and her choices. I cry more, my hair strands thrown apart in the bed. Even Sia is silent and sad. I could feel Ash's pain when Tristian was saying those things to me.How could I do this to him? Maybe, Jessica was right. I don't deserve him. I am too much for him. He deserves a nice woman who won't—wont break his trust! Won't break it! Which I did! Even after he told
