Xavier POV:

I decided that I was done trying to get Hazel to reason with me. He wasn't ready to and that was okay.

As he walked away from me, I decided to focus on tonight's duties rather than overthinking things. Overthinking was not my thing but recently, Hazel had made me do a lot of things I wouldn't usually do and I had no idea why I did that.

"Alpha Xavier,"

I turned to see Felix standing behind me. He bowed a bit before straightening. He was one of my best warriors and he was always quiet. It was quite surprising to see him talking to me today.

"Felix," I called and shook hands with him. I was that formal. "It's not common for me to see you talking,"

"Well, I only talk when needed. Besides, what I want to talk about is something really important,"

I nod. "Sure we can go to my study and talk about it," I made a gesture for my study but he stopped me.

"I won't take much of your time,"
